Description
Tony Fitzpatrick was a beloved and deeply revered printmaker. He combined detailed miniature graffiti backgrounds with voluptuous central images in his compositions. This print was one of Landfall Press's favorites. It was pinned to the wall at Landfall as a fond memory, from the time it was printed there until Landfall closed up shop a few years ago. Because it was pinned to the wall, it shows pin holes used for hanging it, and we would rate the condition as fair. Fitzpatrick created "My Snake Bit Heart" in 1993, an etching with chine collé. Measuring 10.5 x 8.5 inches, this plate cancellation work is unique. The imagery combines symbolism and folk elements. It is signed and in very good condition. We do not offer in-house shipping but you can arrange your own by contacting one of these four trusted shippers who can deliver your artworks to you safely and fully insured.
