Yellow Man’s Revenge is a lithograph with a chine collé image of Terry Allen–the artist–in drag as a youth. The central image floats in a world of text and doodles on a sheet of enlarged and reproduced notebook paper. Allen’s sketchbook aesthetic is a stream-of-conscious mishmash of imagery and text. Terry Allen created Yellow Man’s Revenge in 1974. Measuring 23 x 29.75 inches, this unframed work is an artist proof (AP).
