Vintage Sterling Southwestern Wampum Shell Ring, Sz. 7. 1960's-1970's. Scalloped bezel-set purple and white shell used was wampum (a trade bead). This is appx. 12.3mm by 10.4mm. It is set with a rope accent frame. The top of the ring is appx. 14.5mm down the finger and 11.5mm across the finger with a split v band at top that is appx. 6mm wide and forms into a double fused band that tapers down to appx. 2.9mm at the back of the finger. It is hand-engraved marked SC on the undercarriage fo the setting. It tests as sterling with an appx. weight of 2.94 grams. Oxidation that can be polished back to bright and shiny otherwise in very good condition. (W91325.1X1 SS16797 J LD 10/9/25
