Vintage Sterling Lab Blue Sapphire Ring, White Topaz Stones, Sz. 7, 1970's-1980's. The blue sapphire is lab grown (not glass but made with the same properites that a natural stone has - just grown under ideal conditions in a lab). The stone is appx. 7.8mm by 5.9mm which is appx. 1 ctw. Exact measurement is unable to be done with the stone in the setting that hides the depth of the stone. It has two white topaz set a step down from the blue sapphire with two baguettes set the long way going down the band below the round stones. The ring is marked .925 and tests as sterling with an appx. weight of 7.24 grams. It is signed by the maker but the stamp was not done well and it cannot be read. It is a well made ring with a very good undercarriage - inside that undercarriage however, this is likely accumulate dust, etc., and it needs a good cleaning to brighten the clear stones by removing the dirt below it. Usually a sonic style cleaning will remove that. That will very much increase the beauty of the ring. (W91325.2X2 SS16795 J LD 10/9/25).
