the rectangular bevelled glass plate within a moulded frame, surmounted by an elaborate pierced cresting of scrolling acanthus and foliate ornament, the sides similarly carved with openwork scrolls, the apron with further foliate carving

Condition Report:

Knocks and wear, chips to the giltwork. Small losses, cracks to the frame. Historic flight holes. Rubbing with red boulle showing through gilt in areas.
