The tanzanite is accompanied with a GIA Identification Report (see picture 7), stating the color as violetish blue which is the best color grade for a tanzanite. It looks like a very fine eye clean gem-quality sapphire. It is an investment quality gemstone. The tanzanite measures 27.64 x 18.12 x 13.18 mm and weighs 61.41 carats. It is set in 18 karat white gold with sixty five micropave round brilliant cut diamonds of G-H color and VS1 clarity, total weight approximately 0.94 carat. The pendant weighs 23.1 grams.
