Description:JACOBUS P.F. LEONARD (1880-1924 - Netherlands). Men in Boats by a Whorf (double sided painting) 19-1/2" x 27-1/2" oil on masonite (framed size: 24-3/4" x 32-3/4") signed lower left: J, deC, Leonard (this work came from an estate and the artist was identified as Jacobus P.F. Leonard from the estate). The back side of the painting is a Rocky Shoreline by the Sea - back side of painting has some scratches. As found condition: Appears not to fit the frame perfectly, we can se edge wear at the top edge along with an edge chip on the top edge, appears to have a paint chip lower right edge, has some pits with tiny holes in them, one below the signature lower left, one on the center right side, a few in the sky, the upper left corner and lower right corner of the frame have slight separation.
