Description
Giorgio Valenzin was born in Pordenone in 1901 and died in Venice in 1978.
His first exhibitions abroad took place in 1944: Zurich, Lausanne, and Geneva. He participated in numerous international exhibitions; his works appeared in several editions of the Venice Biennale.
Valenzin received numerous awards and prizes throughout his long career. Many writers and critics have written about his paintings, publishing essays, articles, and radio and television reports. Valenzin's works are included in major Italian and foreign collections, including the Museum of Trieste and the Ca' Pesaro Gallery of Modern Art in Venice
