Enkuraru HEADDRESS from Kenya with Ostrich Feathers and Intricate Beadwork. A Maasai warrior wears an ostrich feather headdress when going into battle. These are quite rare now that the killing of the ostrich is forbidden by law in East Africa. It measures 24" Tall x 17" Wide. It is presumed to be from the early 1900s-1970s (20th Century).
