Exceptional and rare Botanical set of 12 plates from the Munufacture Royale de Sevres ,in the style of the 1700 hundreds when Botanical subjects were extremely search after ,.Each plate is different ,hand painted ,with for the majority a butterfly or a bug in order to give more realism to the picture , they are all signed HM or HP with a date between 1876 and 1879 , it seems to be a special order as this set is unique , Sevres is the most prestigious origine for french porcelaine the factory was a royal factory since the 1700 hundreds until the revolution that worked for the french empire with Napoleon I to become a national factory during the 19 century , you can t get a better origine than that , always splendid every Sevres piece is extremely high- hand , still today it is an extremely prestigious production and essentially work for officials orders from governments all over the world , on the back of the plates you will find the sevres stamp with the date when the porcelain was done , you will find to finish this stunning decor on each plates a very elegant gilded decor .
