Rare French Crystal Ice Bucket Gilt Mounted, Lapis Stone Handles Attributed to Baccarat

Description

A distinctive and highly unusual Baccarat crystal and gilt mounted ice bucket with lapis (?) handles and accompanying gold plated slotted ladle. I could only find 2 other examples of this ice bucket, both Baccarat, in the research I've done. One in Baccarat's 'Nancy' pattern, smaller 4" tall, sold on 1stDibs and one sold by an antique dealer in London which I've included among my pictures. Everything about this ice bucket is special.
