Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a beautiful painting from Keil's "Junge Wilde" collection featuring his iconic sailboats. It is signed "P. Keil" in the lower right corner and executed on board. This piece was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art has minor imperfections. I believe most would no longer be seen once framed.
