Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a beautiful painting from Keil's "Junge Wilde" collection executed on board. I added a photo of the piece appearing to be upside down because of the location of the signature. Typically the way the artist signs the piece is the way he/she intended the piece to be hung. However, that is completely up to you, so I wanted to show it both ways. It is signed "P. Keil" and is titled and signed with location "Berlin" on the verso. This piece was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear. There are a few minor imperfections, specifically on the edges of the board. I do believe once framed, you would no longer see those imperfections. Please see photos for a more detailed look.
