Fitz and Floyd produced the most colorful and whimsical pieces and this Trompe L'oeil lobster tureen will not disappoint. It appears to be a very rare find as only one other was found on the internet.
A large lobster holds court on the lid and is surrounded by greens and shells. The bowl is ribbed and has twisted asparagus handles. The ladle resembles coral.
A true gem from the "Fish Market " collection.
The piece is marked on the bottom.
