Typical from Provence this type of embroideries from the mid 1800 hundreds were directly inspire by indienne toiles or paisley designs , very rare they are wonderful pieces of art , very few survive and so rare they are always very touching and unique , so is this piece that present a very sophisticated decor representing multiple flowers of different sizes , shapes, beautiful contrast between realism and surrealism , the coloring can t get better than that , it s like an explosion of colors , it has a lovely trim and a silk backing , size 36 L on 34 W ,
