Master cuts of old Waterford where strawberry cross hatching between diamond cutting was iconic. The addition of horizontal step cut corners and vertical cut top and bottom edges make for elegant reflection and refraction of light.

Provenance: resourced from Antique dealer selling her family pieces-her great-uncle an attorney who purchased in 1970's. Resourced the set of three with other spirit hanging tags-please see individual listings.

General Marking Information:
Waterford first introduced markings in 1950. These initial marks display the brand name in Gothic lettering. A more contemporary script font replaced the original markings in 1986. Pieces produced in 2000 and beyond will feature a seahorse mark along with the brand name.

Be aware that excessive washing, usage, and age may affect the acid stamp's visibility
