Description
Design lines. The color, proportions and especially the cute lighthearted gooseneck make this one of our favorite decor items.
The lid is removable and secures snugly onto the basket between the ends of the large arching loop handle. Individually crafted with hand cut wood staves and held together with brass wire.
It can be an accent piece holding accessories under its lid or make a nice plant holder, its earthy red tones and patina contrast well with green and bring out red shades from flowers or leaves. Red lacquered items were traditionally given at weddings and coney a rich, warm and passionate tone. Suitable now also for anniversaries.
Qing era with a Ming sense of simplicity and gracefulness.
As an artist from the region, we were extremely selective in the items we chose to collect - only the most distinctive pieces with an authentic and timeless design sensibility.
