This is a sweet Victorian period sterling silver frame with a pleasing repeating embossed pattern of swirls with stylized flowers and leaves mixed in. It is marked on the bottom with the English hallmarks; BM for Birmingham Mint, the anchor confirming Birmingham, the lion for sterling silver and h for 1901.

There are dents and minor silver losses throughout but the busyness of the pattern makes these unnoticeable. There is no glass to protect the picture, I'm not sure if there ever was and the back also shows fading and has been repaired but it still holds the frame up. The photo in the frame is adorable but it is ripped and worn, it measures 5 3/4 inches by 4 inches and takes up the entire inside of the frame.
