Rare Antique Hide Trunk From Bhutan

Description

A rather unique early 20th century storage basket from Bhutan. This tribal trunk, originally found along the ridges of the Himalayas, has a bamboo frame covered with hide. This antique Asian trunk was used to store and transport valuables. An ideal piece for the modern safari look.
