Bowlin who was the head of Rochester Ordnance district during WWII. This stamp indicates an early WWII era trench shotgun | Excellent ordnance cartouche on the stock, receiver, and barrel | Receiver has original duck hunting scene engraving on both sides from factory | Flaming bomb proof marks on receiver, barrel and behind trigger guard on stock. Cross cannon cartouche stamp on left side of stock | US marked receiver | Ventilated heat shield hand guard has been refinished | Comes with sling | Operates slamfire action |||| CONDITION: Very good. 75% original blued finish.
