About the artist: Born on November 23, 1929 in the village of Oshakan, Ashtarak region, Armenia. Studied: in art schools in Armenia (1946-1950) and Moscow (1950-1951). Graduated from the P. Terlemezyan Armenian Art School (1950). Teachers by profession - A. Sakhanov, V. Baksheev. Painter. He worked in the field of thematic painting, as well as in the genres of portrait and landscape. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1970). Participated in exhibitions: republican, all-Ukrainian (1967). Major works: "In the mountains of Armenia" (1967), "At the village of Buchak", "Grain fields in the mountains" (1968), "In the Carpathians" (1969), "Native village" (1970), "Lesya Ukrainka in old Tiflis "(1971), portraits of the Armenian writer G. Saryan (1956), Hero of the Soviet Union Colonel A. Scheblakov (1978), a participant in the liberation of Kiev, Lieutenant K. Avetisyan (1983) and others. The works are kept in the funds of the Directorate of Exhibitions of Ukraine, in the Museum of Lesia Ukrainka in Kiev, in the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko.
