About the artist: Born June 8, 1914 in the village of Bota (now the Zaporozhye region). Graduated from the Kharkov Art School (1934) and the Kharkov Art Institute (1942). Teachers by profession - M. Shcheglov, M. Sharonov, M. Deregus, S. Besedin, M. Samokish. He worked in the field of easel painting. Major works: "At the sick commissar" (1938); “From the mainland. The meeting of the underground Central Committee of the CP (b) V at the rear of the enemy ”(1946 - 1947); "Ilyich". (1963); Experienced (1965); "New Owners of the Winter Palace" (1967). Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1945, all-Union since 1938. Awarded with medals. He died in the 1980s.
