About the artist: Born on May 18, 1925 in the city of Chimkent, now Kazakhstan. Studied at the Riga Academy of Arts (1950-1956). Teachers by profession - J. Tilberg, E Skulme. Painter and director. Awarded with medals. Chief Designer of the Zaporizhzhya Music and Drama Theater named after N. Shchors (now named after V. Magar) since 1970.
