About the artist: Born February 19, 1926 in Kiev. Studied at the Kiev Art Institute (1946 - 1952). He worked in the field of easel sculpture and easel painting, best known as a sculptor. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1957. Major works: sculpture - portrait of the old Bolshevik-Arsenal soldier P.S. Pogrebny (1957); “Overcoming. (In the name of life) (1957 - 1965); painting - a portrait of N. G. Rakhlin, People's Artist of the USSR (1956); portrait of twice Hero of the Soviet Union in the village of F. Shutov (1957); still life "Bread and salt" (1969) and others. Lived and worked in Kiev.
