About the artist: Born March 10, 1923 in Odessa. He graduated from the Odessa Art College (1941), the I. Yu. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1950). Specialty teacher - R. Frents. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the industry of easel painting. Major works: “Seaside Boulevard” (1961); “Valya Volchishche - surveyor of the North Crimean Canal” (1963); triptych "Kobzar" (1964), triptych "For the land, for the will" (1967) and others. He participated in exhibitions: republican since 1963, all-union since 1961. Honored Artist of the USSR (1964). Awarded with medals. He died in 1984.
