About the artist: Born on September 23, 1905 in the city of Orhei, now Moldova. He graduated from the Chisinau School of Art (1925), studied at private studios in Berlin (1924-1926) and Paris (1926-1929). Painter, master of art weaving, embroidery and ceramics. He worked in the industry of easel painting and decorative art (art textiles, embroidery, ceramics). Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1945). Participated in exhibitions: republican (1946), all-union (1957), foreign (1938). Main works: carpets, tapestries, decorative fabrics, decorative dishes; still lifes of "Asters" (1956), "Peonies" (1958) and others. He lived and worked in the city of Kiev, died on October 22, 1989.
