lacking colophon and possibly other leaves,
several leaves frayed,
some staining and some leaves trimmed
Reversed calf binding, worn, lower cover detached

One of two variants of this Breeches Bible from this date - this with printer's name incorrectly spelled "Bakker" and with NT title dated.
Provenance: J.Hewson (leather book label on front pastdeown).
Later leaves of manuscript notes at end relating to members of the Hewson family.
