Description

Gilt bronze size 3 1/2. These were worn on the middle phalanges (middle bone) of the small finger. 5th-8th Century AD. Circular with a rounded ridged face and the Roman nub to the bottom. The raised stepped lenticular bezel is incised with a line border, transverse band, and radial motifs to the field. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. See the reference image which shows the process. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
