Description

Silvered bronze band with rounded face hand decorated in a hatched pattern forming a spiral. The spiral or helix was a favorite Viking pattern and held supernatural significance for them. Size 8 1/4. The surface is slightly textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored for modern wear. See the reference image which shows the process. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity. Fine wearable example.
