Medieval Europe, 9th-12th century AD. Gilt bronze, size 8 ¾ with 2.4mm rounded face band flaring to the shoulders. Raised transversely orientated lozenge shaped bezel. The top plain, probably inscribed with a cross originally. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. See the reference image which shows the process. Gift boxed with a certification of authenticity.
