Description

Good quality with 2.0mm rounded face band slightly flaring to the shoulders. Lozenge shaped bezel cut with five marks, serving as a signet which identified the owner and could be used to seal legal matters. (In Ben Hur, the title character identifies himself by stamping Messala’s tablet with his ring which bears the signet of Quintus Arrius.) Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift box with Certificate of Authenticity. Rare large size.
