10th-11th century AD. Gilt bronze, a little over size 8 1/2, 2.2mm width, with low rounded face. Surface textured from burial. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
