Vintage 14kt Pink Sapphire CZ Pointed Ring, Sz. 8.5, 1970's-1980's. the sapphire is likely a lab stone - not natural. Lab grown does nto be glass or crystal - it is made up of the same components as a natural stone but the crystal is grown under ideal conditions in a lab. It then must be cut, just like a natural stone. This has a center 8.5 pink stone that tests as a pink topaz. It has a tiered halo of clear marquise cz stones that are appx. 3mm by 1.8mm. T hey are set on stem-like rays that reach out from above the band toward the pink stone with a silghtly lower tier and a few higher-set stones. This tests as 14kt (white gold) and weight is appx. 6.60 gr. The top of the ring is appx. 20mm across. The band, at top, has a triple band design with space betwwen the bands - it is appx. 4.2mm wide on top with the center band slightly higher. It tapers to a fused band that is appx. 2.5mm at the back of the finger. Very good condition. It isnot marked or signed. (W51124.16X5 SS13993 J LD 7/6/24).
