Vintage Sterling Carnelian Marcasite Accent Ring, Sz. 7, 1980's or earlier. This is a long ring with curved and pointed from and back and rectangular shaped carnelian stones set in bezel-frames on the ring in a cross-like pattern. The ring is appx. 1.25" down the finger and cover appx. 1-1/8" over the top of the finger. It is marked .925 and tests as sterling with an appx. weight of 7.72 grams. The ring has raised marcasite-like accents throughout. They appear to be molded into the ring and not separate marcasites individually attached. One of the marcasites has some damage but only noticed under magnification. Very well-made ring. It isnot signed by the maker. Very good condition other than the one marcasite-like stone as mentioned. (W92725.1X5 SS16793 J LD 10/12/25).
