Description: Cary's Reduction of his large Map of England & Wales, with part of Scotland, comprehending the whole of the Turnpike Roads, with the Great Rivers & the Course of the different navigable canals: also the Market and Borough Towns and principal places adjoining the Road, to which is added the actual distance from one Market Town to another.' by Cary, John. Published 1805 - Published by J. Cary, February 20, 1796, and corrected to the year 1805. Beautifully detailed antique engraved folding map mounted on linen, with original hand colouring. Presented in original slip case. Size 77 x 64 cm | 30.0 x 25.0 inches. Condition: Good; suitable for framing. Light spotting. Linen backing worn through at one of the junctions of the folds.
