Peter Pan’s Neverland Map — offset-lithographed promotional fantasy map issued by Walt Disney Productions in conjunction with the original 1953 release of Peter Pan, distributed in the United States as a premium with the “Peter Pan Beauty Bar” (Colgate). A colourful, whimsical pictorial map of Neverland, capturing the key settings of the film—Mermaid Lagoon, the Indian Camp, Pirate Cove and Skull Rock—rendered in the mid-century Disney storybook style derived from production artwork, and based on the drawings of Walt Disney himself. Decorative borders featuring stills from the movie, playful lettering and characteristic vignettes make it both an illustrated poster and an imaginative cartographic interpretation of Barrie’s fictional island. A scarce piece of early Disney merchandising, predating the later systematic licensing era, it represents one of the earliest standalone visual maps of Neverland published for the public. .
