The map is surrounded by an elaborate border incorporating 118 heraldic coats of arms of the county’s noble families. A detailed inset view of Dover Castle and Town appears at lower right, while London is shown to the north-west. Tables list the county’s lathes, bailiwicks, hundreds, market towns, cities, ports, and franchises. Printed on two conjoined sheets, blank verso, with tight margins as usual. .
