Title: Iconic Mid-Century Modern Vintage Barcalounger Genuine Leather Reclining Club Chair.

Description: This classic chair is in remarkably good condition for a vintage piece. Any minor scuffs or scratches are consistent with age. There is no noticeable damage, tears or staining. The reclining function has the same feel as would a new chair.
The Barcalounger was first manufactured in 1940 by the Barcalo Manufacturing Company in Buffalo, New York. While the company, founded by Edward J. Barcalo in 1896, originally produced tools and metal bed frames, they began producing the "scientifically-articulated reclining chair" in 1940 after partnering with inventor.
