Pair of Maison Jansen style hollywood regency marble top mounted ebony commodes or nightstands. This is a stunning pair of large and impressive paint decorated bronze mounted cabinets reminiscent of designs by Maison Jansen. The case supporting a white and gray veined marble top set in a pierced bronze gallery. Four drawers with the top two smaller drawers having a bronze frame and pulls over a larger pair of drawers with a bronze frame and matching pulls. The drawers flanked by column-form corners each terminating in cookie cutter corners. The four tapering legs with bronze sabots and capitals. The whole having bronze framed double boxed sides displaying the side of the cookie cutter corner.
