Description
This is an superb Tall/Large Coffee/Teapot made by ROYAL COPENHAGEN, Aluminia factory in Denmark
The pot is in the Tranquebar pattern.
It is properly marked with Royal Copenhagen back stamp.
It has beautiful blue and white floral pattern with open lattice border.
Tranquebar is Aluminum's most famous design. It was developed in 1912. It is made of hard and durable earthenware called flint. Flintware is also known for its gray color. All Tranquebar items are hand painted. This makes it very artistic and collectible.
The Tall Coffee/Tea pot is 8 3/4" from the spot to the handle and 8 1/2" tall to the tip of the lid.
It is very rare and just beautiful.
It is is in good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
