Description: This is a gorgeous Vintage Coffee/Tea set with Teapot, creamer, sugar bowl made by Gien France.
The set is part of in Gien's remarkable 200 year old Renaissance Fond Bleu pattern featuring a central cherub cartouche, mythical creatures wrestling with ribbons and shooting scrollwork adorned with fruit.
The backstamp dates the set between 1960 and 1971.
The set includes:
8 (eight) Coffee/Espresso cups - 2 3/8" in diameter at the rim and 2 1/2" tall
8 (eight) Saucers for the cups - 4 1/2" in diameter;
1 (one) Coffee/Teapot - 9 1/2" tall to the top of the lid and it is 8" from handle to the end of the spout;
1 (one) Sugar Bowl - 6 3/8" tall to the top of the lid;
1 (one) Creamer/Milk Jug - 4 1/8" tall to the tip of the spout;
It is in very good condition.
Super addition to any collection and a wonderful display piece
