Description
It is a rare, small cup and saucer set.
The pattern is a lovely cobalt blue, rust and ivory Imari style pattern with a gold hand-painted trim.
The set has an old Royal Albert mark that dates it around 1940.
It is the original antique version of the pattern, not the newest reproductions.
The rims of this pattern are surrounded in Imari style flowers, gold scrolls in classic cobalt blue, rusty orange, with bands of gold.
The set includes:
1 (one) Coffee/Tea Cup - 3 1/8" in diameter at the rim and 2 1/4" tall
1 (one) Saucer for the cup - 5" in diameter
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There could be some minor crazing and/or wear on the gold - please refer to the pictures or ask questions.
