This rare and stunning set of Creamer and Open Sugar Bowl on a dish
made by Royal Adderley - Made in England.
The set is from their famous Canadian provincial flower collection and displays the Trillium flower.
The pattern has very pretty delicate green and white Trillium flowers on snow white background and gold rim.
The Trillium was declared the provincial flower for the Canadian Province of Ontario in 1937.
The white trillium can be found in deciduous forests and woodlands of the province in late April and early May.
It's Ontario's most widely recognized flower.
I personally find Royal Adderley Trillium collection more delicate than the famous Trillium pattern by Royal Albert
The sugar bowl is 3" in diameter and 2" tall, the creamer is 2 1/2" tall to the tip of the spout.
The under plate is 7 5/8" by 3 1/2"
It is very rare and just beautiful. It will make a wonderful gift or will be a great addition to any vintage china collection.
The set is in very good used vintage condition with no cracks, or crazing.
