Description: Up for sale is this antique book about the art of poetry, "SHELLEY'S DEFENSE OF POETRY", Edited with an introduction and notes by Albert S. Cook. 1890, Ginn and Company. Hardcover, 82 pages. Dark blue cloth cover with gilt title and decoration to front cover & spine.
Binding tight and square, no missing, loose or torn pages. Gilt remains bright on front and spine despite age of this book. Some minor stains to boards; spine tips lightly worn; minor edgewear to upper spine cap; more wear with minor chipping to lower cap. Ffep has "25" in pencil; "MB" to upper corner of bfep. Age toning to endpapers.
Minor small indentations to fore edge of back cover.
An excellent copy of this book, very clean.
