Description
Jim Brown AUTOGRAPHED Cleveland Browns #46 Mini Helmet with Schwartz COA. Perfectly presented inside original packaging featuring a strong bold black signature. The number #46 was worn by Don Fleming, a star safety for the Cleveland Browns who was tragically electrocuted in an off-season accident in 1963. He was a teammate and close friend of Jim Brown during their three seasons together from 1960 to 1962. On June 4, 1963, Fleming was working a construction job in Orlando, Florida, when a crane boom he was operating accidentally brushed against a 12,000-volt high-tension wire. He and a co-worker were killed instantly by the electric shock. Sadly Browns team mate #45 Davis had also passed just 17 days prior; the Browns immediately retired both numbers and remain 2 of the five retired by the franchise. Ideal for any house hold, mancave or office. Fantastic gift idea, please use photos to judge condition and bid accordingly.
