Description
The ring is centered with an oval cabochon-cut Burmese ruby of deep purplish-red hue, flanked by two old European-cut diamonds. The gallery and shoulders are further set with old mine-cut diamonds, all mounted in a finely detailed silver-topped gold setting with openwork and engraved decoration. The combination of the richly colored ruby with the surrounding brilliant diamonds creates a striking contrast, characteristic of early 20th-century craftsmanship.
