Fine condition.
Theodore “Dutch” Van Kirk (1921–2014) served as the navigator aboard the Enola Gay during the Hiroshima atomic bombing mission on August 6, 1945. These photographs offer a personal and historic connection to the men behind one of WWII’s most significant missions.
A desirable pair of signed reunion artifacts tying together atomic bomb history, WWII aviation, and the enduring legacy of the 509th Composite Group.
