Chester Morris autographed 11 x 14” vintage matte-finish photograph depicting a classic studio portrait of the actor in a refined profile pose. Boldly signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Joyce — Sincerely, Chester Morris 1933.”

Fine condition, with light silvering to the darker areas of the image and a few small edge and corner tip creases.

Chester Morris (1901–1970) was an American actor best known for his roles in crime dramas and early sound films. He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his performance in “Alibi” (1929) and later gained widespread recognition for portraying Boston Blackie in a popular series of mystery films throughout the 1940s.
