Clive Brook autographed 11 x 14” vintage matte-finish sepia photograph depicting a refined studio portrait of the actor with arms folded in a classic pose. Boldly signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To ‘Evelyn’s Aunt,’ Hope I’ve chosen the right one for you! Clive Brook.”

Fine condition, with very subtle rippling to the top edge, a faint marginal spot, and a hint of silvering to the darker areas.

Clive Brook (1887–1974) was a British actor who achieved international fame during the early sound era of Hollywood. Known for his suave presence and understated performances, he starred in numerous films throughout the late 1920s and 1930s, including roles in mystery and drama productions, and was a frequent leading man in both British and American cinema.
