Wallace Beery autographed 10 x 13” vintage semi-glossy photograph depicting a striking head-and-shoulders portrait of the actor by renowned Hollywood photographer George Hurrell. Boldly signed and inscribed in white ink, “To Jim, My very best wishes, Yours sincerely, Wallace Beery.” The photograph is blindstamped in the lower border by Hurrell, with his MGM credit stamp on the reverse.

Very good to fine condition, with scattered light silvering, along with a circular surface impression and a small blemish visible in the upper background area.

Wallace Beery (1885–1949) was an American actor and Academy Award winner, best known for his role in “The Champ” (1931), for which he received the Academy Award for Best Actor. A prominent figure in early Hollywood, Beery appeared in numerous films across both the silent and sound eras, earning acclaim for his rugged screen presence and versatility in both dramatic and comedic roles.
